Boy Scout Troop 112
A Brief History
- Boy Scout Troop 112 of Mount Pleasant, New Jersey in Hunterdon County is chartered by Alexandria First Presbyterian Church
- The original charter was written by the church more than half a century ago in 1958 during the pastorate of Reverend Donald Ream
- The newly chartered troop met for the first time on Monday, September 8, 1958 at the church
- Elder Harrry Rockafellow of Alexandria Church served as the first Scoutmaster and he continued to lead the troop as Scoutmaster for the next 9 years
- The original troop consisted of 8 youth members
- Presently the troop enjoys the membership of over 20 active Scouts
- Nearly 60 Scouts have attained the rank of Eagle Scout
- Boy Scout Troop 112 celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2008

- Meetings are held Tuesday evenings during the school year from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. at the church
- You can contact troop leaders by stopping in at a meeting. No appointment is necessary

Venture Crew 904
- The governing board of Alexandria Church approved the formation of Venture Crew 904 in 2015
- It draws from Troops 119 (Pittstown), 187 (Holland), 108 (Quakertown), 251 (Frenchtown), T127 (Riegelsville), and of course 112 (Mount Pleasant)
